Introduction to basic clay forming techniques using handbuilding processes and the pottery wheel. Students will complete a range of assignments while working with a variety of clays and glazes while being introduced to the historic and contemporary uses of clay. An emphasis will be placed on craftsmanship, creativity, and problem solving. Materials fee.
