PHY 494 - Directed Research
0 to 6 hours
Undergraduate research in physics, under the direct supervision of a research mentor in the department; work may be theoretical, computational, experimental, or some combination of these as long as time-on-task requirement is met. Meetings with the mentor is required; results must be presented in a formal report. May be repeated any number of times, but only 3 credit hours may count as electives toward Physics or Applied Physics majors. CI and approval of chair and school dean.
