MKT 322 I - Consumer Behavior

Consumers are the focus of most marketing activities beginning with understanding consumer needs and ending with consumer satisfaction (or dissatisfaction).  Development of an understanding of what shapes consumer behavior.  Emphasis is on understanding not just what products do for consumers, but also the meaning that products have in consumers’ lives.  Concepts for the social sciences are studied and used to understand consumer behavior, and to shape marketing decisions.
