KIN 340 I - Legal and Ethical Issues in Sport

This course provides an overview and analysis of the legal principles and ethical questions that confront community, amateur, and professional sport.  Topics and issues that will be explored include tort, contract, and constitutional law; federal statues, sport agent legislation; arbitration and collective bargaining; business structures and intellectual property; and the application of moral reasoning to make decisions and solve problems.
