KIN 240 - Foundations of Exercise Science (Foundations F4d) 3-2-4
An introduction to the acute and chronic physiological responses to aerobic and anaerobic exercise, basic biomechanical principles, and general concepts of motor learning and control, each of which play important roles in understanding human movement. Laboratory involves hands-on data collection of physiological responses and movement patterns, data analysis, and interpretation of findings. Intended for non-majors.
