DAT 498 - Directed Study
1-3 hours
In-depth study of an individualized program designed by the student and faculty sponsor. Alternatively, independent study may involve working with an individual faculty member on a research project in which students have the opportunity to see firsthand how new knowledge and understanding are developed in analytics. To pursue directed study, students develop a learning contract with the faculty sponsor and will typically produce a significant term paper or project.
