ENG 316 - Studies in Medieval Literature

This course introduces students to literature from the 5th through 15th centuries. Texts may be drawn from a variety of languages and cultures, including religious and secular, aristocratic and bourgeois, and both conquering and conquered peoples. Topic may vary; may be repeated for elective credit in the major if topic changes.
