NUR 410I - Nursing Cross Cultural Immersion (Foundations F3a)

This course explores the nurse’s role in clinical, hospital, and community care within diverse or international settings. It covers nursing care from a population health perspective, focusing on wellness, chronic disease management, restorative care, and palliative care, all while emphasizing cultural humility. Students will assess healthcare influenced by culture, access, socioeconomic factors, and behaviors, and will identify ways to integrate evidence-based practice into nursing, using critical thinking, flexibility, and clinical reasoning to ensure safe, effective care.
