PHY 111 - General Physics I with Algebra (Foundations F4d)
3-2-4
Introductory physics using algebra and trigonometry. Topics include motion in one and two dimensions, Newton’s Laws, conservation principles and rotational motion. Thermodynamics, waves, sound and fluids will be covered as time allows. Note: PHY 111 fulfills requirements in several non-physics majors.
PR: MAT 120 or MAT 201 or a score of 60 or better on the Math Preparedness Assessment (ALEKS PPL).
