An examination of the interactions among the reader, the text, and the context when constructing meaning in content area texts and materials. Models instructional strategies for activating prior knowledge, guiding reading, developing comprehension, monitoring and implementing blended-learning/flipped classrooms. 15 hours of field experince required.
