The Division of Nursing offers a program of study in nursing leading to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program at Berry College has full approval by the Georgia Board of Nursing, 237 Coliseum Drive, Macon, Georgia 31217, and the baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Berry College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a four year program. The first two years of course work provide the strong liberal arts and science foundation vital for preparing the professional with critical thinking, clinical reasoning, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills essential to meet the healthcare realities of the future. The upper division nursing major is a four semester sequence at the junior and senior level where students will participate in a highly interactive classroom and simulation laboratory with fellow students and faculty dedicated to a positive collaborative environment of learning. Graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing leads to eligibility for initial licensure as a registered nurse.
