The growth of technology in our society has increased the need for individuals with analytical skills and experience in developing and using technology. Majors and minors in the mathematical and computer sciences prepare students for a wide variety of careers requiring problem solving, logical reasoning and applications of current technology. Students who have majored in the mathematical sciences have received excellent preparation for graduate studies in a variety of fields, including engineering, law and medicine. Within the mathematics major, students may choose a computer science, mathematics, or a mathematics education concentration. All programs lead to the Bachelor of Science degree.
Minors offered by the department include a mathematics minor, a computer science minor, and an interdisciplinary minor in web development. ProgramsMajorMinor
