Environmental Studies at Berry College is an interdisciplinary program that addresses the environment and environmental problems with the methods and through the perspectives of the humanities, arts and social sciences. Environmental Studies explores human interactions with nature and includes a consideration of urban and agricultural, as well as natural, environments. The emphasis of the program is upon connecting ideas from such diverse disciplines as religion and philosophy, communication, history, literature, sociology and anthropology, modern languages, political science and the fine arts in order to better understand, appreciate, and interact with our environments.

While courses are offered in Environmental Studies (ENV), a major or minor is not available.
