		Environmental Sciences Major Requirements (63-67 hours):
 Each student must complete the core requirements listed below, the appropriate elective courses, and the designated courses for one area of concentration. Core Requirements (48 hours):
 Areas of Concentration
 Each area of concentration is offered and administered by an individual department or a group of departments working jointly. Each area of concentration requires at least 18 hours, but not more than 27 hours. Concentration Requirements (15-16 hours):
 Required Courses (4 hours):
 Plus a minimum of 11 hours from the following courses:
 The electives may include up to two courses from the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory or at the Highlands Biological Station (see Biology Major ). Note:
 In addition, BIO 111  and BIO 204  are recommended as electives for students who intend to pursue graduate work in a biological field.  													 |
