German Major: German Concentration, B.A.

Requirements: 21 hours at the 300 level and above

Intermediate Level Proficiency, German

Intermediate-level ability in German demonstrated by satisfactory completion of GER 200  r higher, or by proficiency testing and a combination of the following:

Advanced Requirements: 21 hours *

  • Twenty-one hours of 300-400-level German courses taken at Berry College and/or as part of an approved study abroad program in a German-speaking country.  The German adviser, World Languages Department Chair, and International Experiences director will work with students to tailor a beneficial study abroad experience if appropriate.

Note:

*For students pursing a secondary education major that requires FLA 400 , that course does not count as one of the advanced required elective courses for the GER major.
