Intermediate Level Proficiency, German
Intermediate-level ability in German demonstrated by satisfactory completion of GER 200 r higher, or by proficiency testing and a combination of the following:
Advanced Requirements (21 hours):
- At least fifteen hours of 300-400-level German courses taken at Berry College and/or as part of an approved study abroad program in a German-speaking country. The German adviser, World Lanaguages Department Chair, and International Experiences director will work with students to tailor a beneficial study abroad experience if appropriate.
- Up to six hours of 300-400 level courses in other disciplines which highlight German history, culture, philosophy, art or other disipline. Preapproved courses include:

For students pursing a secondary education major that requires FLA 400 , that course does not count as one of the advanced required elective courses for the GER major.
