KIN 455 - Sport Facility and Event Management

An examination of the elements which shape the planning, design, and construction of sports venues, as well as the factors that pertain to the management of facilities and hosting of events. Topics include funding, personnel, assessment, operations, maintenance, revenue streams, budgeting, and scheduling. In addition, an emphasis will be placed on risk management, security plans, and emergency preparedness so that students can develop comprehensive plans that mitigate such concerns.
