EDU 667 - Multicultural Education

Critically examines the role of educators in promoting multicultural education through the understanding of and in the creation of learning environments addressing the needs of all students. Foundational information includes current research, literature, and media designed to assist educators in examining personal implicit biases, recognizing the multicultural differences within the classroom and in the development of culturally responsible curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the needs of all students. 10 hours of field experience required.
