EDU 714 - Leadership in Diverse Schools

This course will explore the cultural, social, pedagogical, and legal issues of working in diverse school environments and settings. It will examine how changing demographics of the student population impact the knowledge, ethics, and skills of school leaders as they guide to change and work to address the needs of students to meet rigorous academic standards. We will seek to identify and analyze the strategies, practices and attitudes of school leaders to create an environment in a diverse school setting that supports the success of all students. Field experience may be required for this course.   Field experience required.
