The Charter School of Education and Human Sciences offers courses and field experiences in Teacher Education, Psychology, Kinesiology, Nursing, and Family studies. Five majors and three minors are offered through the Charter School.
Effective professionals in education and psychology rely upon a strong knowledge base, intensive training, a strong code of ethics and significant and varied experience. The programs in the Charter School of Education and Human Sciences are innovative, academically challenging and field-based. Exciting opportunities are available for students with an interest in research to work with faculty on a variety of projects.
Graduate Programs
Berry College offers a Master of Arts in Teaching in early childhood (P - 5) education, in middle grades (4 - 8) education, and in secondary (6 -12) education; a Master of Education degree in early childhood (P - 5), middle grades (4 - 6) education, reading; and curriculum and instruction. Also offered are Education Specialist degrees in Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction.
