Intermediate Level Proficiency, German

Intermediate-level ability in German demonstrated by satisfactory completion of GER 200  r higher, or by proficiency testing and a combination of the following:

• GER 101 - Introduction I to German Language and Culture (Foundations F3c) 4-1-4
• GER 102 - Introduction II to German Language and Culture (Foundations F3c) 4-1-4
• GER 200 - German in Review: Language, Culture, History (Intermediate) (Foundations F3c) 4-1-4

Advanced Requirements: 21 hours *

• Twenty-one hours of 300-400-level German courses taken at Berry College and/or as part of an approved study abroad program in a German-speaking country.  The German adviser, World Languages Department Chair, and International Experiences director will work with students to tailor a beneficial study abroad experience if appropriate.
