Required History Courses (34 hours):

• Choose one of the following:

• HIS 120 - Foundations of Modern America (Foundations F4a) 3-0-3

• or

• HIS 155 - World History Since 1550 (Foundations F3b & F4a) 3-0-3

• Plus an additional 24 hours of history electives, including 6 hours of upper-division (300-400 level) courses in United States history, and 6 hours of upper-division courses in European and/or world history. At least one elective History course at the 300-400 level must concentrate on a period before AD 1500, and at least one elective History course at the 300-400 level must concentrate on non-western History.  No more than two History elective courses at the 100- or 200-level may be applied toward the major.

Concentration: History Plus Global Issues

• *Internship may also be used to satisfy History core or the Minor requirements.

Required Minor:

Complete either a French Minor  (9-21 hours), a German Minor  (9-21 hours), a Spanish Minor  (9-21 hours), an International Affairs Minor  (18 hours), or a Latin American and Caribbean Studies Minor  (18 hours).
