Required History Courses (34 hours):
- HIS 154 - World History to 1550 (Foundations F3b & F4a) 3-0-3
- HIS 491 I - Historiography 3-0-4
Choose one of the following: - HIS 120 - Foundations of Modern America (Foundations F4a) 3-0-3
or - HIS 155 - World History Since 1550 (Foundations F3b & F4a) 3-0-3
Plus an additional 24 hours of history electives, including 6 hours of upper-division (300-400 level) courses in United States history, and 6 hours of upper-division courses in European and/or world history. At least one elective History course at the 300-400 level must concentrate on a period before AD 1500, and at least one elective History course at the 300-400 level must concentrate on non-western History. No more than two History elective courses at the 100- or 200-level may be applied toward the major.
